Kristen and Josh wanted an intimate day focused solely on each other, so they chose an adventurous jeep elopement in Ouray, Colorado. Nestled in the San Juan Mountains, Ouray offers breathtaking views and rugged landscapes, making it the perfect getaway.

We met in Ouray and began the journey into the mountains, passing waterfalls and breathtaking mountain views. Once we reached the top of the mountain, Kristen slipped into her dress on one side of the jeep as Josh got ready on the other. On the mountain’s edge, surrounded by peaks, the couple exchanged rings and vows in a private ceremony at 12,500 feet. Afterward, Kristen and Josh celebrated with champagne and signed their marriage license on the hood of the jeep. We continued taking pictures until the sun started going down. As the sun set, they shared their first dance in the golden light, savoring the day’s final moments.

Before heading down the mountain, we set up a picnic with a one-tier cake that had joined us on the adventure. It was a quiet, special moment that perfectly capped off their day. Afterward, we packed up the jeep and began our descent down the mountain with wind-blown hair and full hearts.
