Rayana and Will wanted a private ceremony in the wild without anyone around. Even after covid hit, nothing was going to stop them from getting married, “Not even a zombie apocalypse,” said Rayana. So they had an adventurous elopement in Castle Valley outside Moab, Utah.
Rayana found her beautiful dress on sale for less than $100, which I couldn’t believe! And she ordered their vow books and dried bouquet from Etsy (always a win!) In addition, she added some dried grass from their backyard to her bouquet for a personal touch. I love those sentimental details!
I met Rayana and Will at the Fisher Towers trailhead, hiking around the massive rock pillars. Afterward, we drove to Castle Valley, where they exchanged vows without a person around for miles, just like they wanted. After the ceremony, they shared some delicious cupcakes before we packed up for our final spot.
We ended the day at Dead Horse Point, one of the best places in Moab to watch the sunset. Adventuring around the canyon until we lost the sun. At the end of the day, their adventurous elopement in Castle Valley was exactly what they dreamed of- wild, intimate, and full of love.
