Rachel and Austin are two of the sweetest people I have ever met! Together with their furbaby Ahsoka and their immediate family, the couple flew from Dallas to have an adventurous family elopement in Telluride, Colorado.
I met Rachel and Austin at their cabin in Mountain Village. They had an adorable first look in the backyard while their guests watched from the deck. After packing the jeep, we drove into the mountains for their family elopement. We hiked into a field completely surrounded by mountains, where Rachel and Austin were married in a sweet and heartfelt ceremony. Afterward, we set up a picnic in the trees so everyone could relax and celebrate in the shade.
I stole Rachel, Austin, and Ahsoka, and we drove to Trout Lake for their couples’ photos. Even with elopements, the day can go by so fast. So I always suggest saving a little time to relax and be in the moment with each other. We laid out a blanket to rest while Austin picked flowers and placed them on their flower girl, Ahsoka. Then, we hopped back into the jeep and drove to Bridal Veil Falls for epic pictures under the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado. The spray from the falls cooled us off after a long day in the sun. At the end of the day, we returned to the cabin with dirty boots and happy hearts. The perfect end to their adventurous family elopement in Telluride, Colorado.
