Adventurous Elopement in Monument Valley, AZ // Sydney & Brian

Sydney and Brian decided that they wanted to do something a little bit different for their wedding so they decided to elope out west in the rugged landscape in the Arizona Desert. I have always wanted to photograph in Monument Valley so I was stoked when the couple decided that is where they wanted to elope.

The day of the elopement we drove out to Monument Valley where we took the scenic loop around the base of the monument (which highly suggest!) The couple was married in a private ceremony with just a few passerby’s stopping by to take in the view, and a couple that was kind enough to be our other witness, and they signed their marriage license on the hood of the jeep making it official.

We spend the afternoon photographing the different monuments and chasing that beautiful light and we ended the day with a sunset session at Forest Gump Hill, which was named after the iconic movie, you guessed it, Forest Gump 😉

Sydney and Brian’s elopement was everything they wanted it to be, intimate, unique, and full of adventure!
