I first met Brooke and Kyle while photographing an intimate for their friend in Ireland. We quickly became friends, and I was stoked when they asked me to photograph their adventurous elopement at Mount Rainier National Park.
After discussing a few ideas, Brooke and Kyle decided on Mount Rainier as the backdrop for their wedding adventure getaway. So, with 4 of their best friends, they traveled from California, where I met the group for their elopement at Mount Rainier. I have seen some mountains in my day, but nothing compares to Mount Rainier. An active volcano, Mount Rainier is actually the largest glacier peak in the lower 48 states, standing at 14,411 feet.
Brooke and Kyle rented an airbnb with their friends, who traveled to celebrate with the couple. On the afternoon of the elopement, we hiked up the Skyline Trail and found a gorgeous spot for the ceremony. They decided to have a traditional first look as Brooke walked down the path with her sister. These sweet and simple moments are always my favorite. They exchanged vows as Mount Rainier towered above them. Afterward, we were gifted with the most incredible sunset! I am always so grateful to work with such amazing couples and friends like Brooke and Kyle. Their adventurous elopement at Mount Rainier National Park is one I will never forget.
