Stephanie and Abraham wanted their day to focus on their love story, so we planned a quiet elopement in the California Redwoods at Muir Beach.
Before their ceremony in the trees, we met for a sunrise session on Muir Beach. A quiet little cove, it made the perfect backdrop for their adventure elopement on the coast. Following the rocky shoreline down to the beach, we were the only ones awake except for a few surfers. Stephanie kicked off her boots to play in the sand, the rugged cliffs and wild sea making the perfect backdrop. After that, we drove up the coast to a private spot nestled in the redwoods dating back 1,500 years. Stephanie and Abraham exchanged vows as their echoes drifted up into the treetops standing over 200ft tall.
They shared their first dance as husband and wife among the ferns and giant redwoods. The light shining through the trees was magical as we took their wedding pictures. Afterward, we met friends and family at the Pelican Inn for an intimate lunch ceremony. Their gorgeous hand-painted cake from Flour & Batter was the most beautiful creation I have ever seen! Stephanie & Abraham’s elopement in the California Redwoods was everything they wanted it to be, intimate, adventurous, and focused on their love. I am so grateful to work with such incredible, down-to-earth couples.
