While visiting Colorado, Anna and Derek fell in love with the beauty and history of Telluride. So when discussing places for their intimate ceremony on the river, Telluride was an easy choice. Thus the couple flew from Missouri with immediate family for an intimate ceremony in the mountains. Besides the privacy, one of my favorite things about the Southwest is all the incredible locations. If you are up for an adventure, you can even visit multiple spots in one day.
We started the day in the aspen trees while Anna roamed barefoot, feeling the earth under her feet. A fun fact I tell visitors; aspen trees are connected by an intricate root system, making them one living organism. The largest living organism on earth! After that, we drove to Bridal Veil Falls, the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado. We hiked around the base of the falls soaring up a staggering 365 ft. Once we finished exploring, we drove to our final spot down by the river.
We gathered with friends and family for their intimate ceremony on the river. Once they exchanged rings, Anna and Derek dipped their toes in the water. The perfect ending to a perfect day for two adventurous lovers.
