Jordan and Ben met in high school, and just like a Taylor Swift song, Ben was an athlete, and Jordan was in the band when they became high school sweethearts. Together, they completed high school, college, and graduate school. With the ups and downs of life and challenges on the way, they remained by each other’s side. They wanted a day focused on their love, so they chose to have an intimate sunset elopement in Sedona. A special place for Jordan since she used to visit with her family. It harbors many happy memories, and they hope to build more memories with their future family. In addition to the gorgeous red rock landscapes, Sedona has dozens of hiking trails, making it an outdoor lovers’ paradise.
On the afternoon of their elopement, I met Jordan and Ben at the trailhead of Cathedral Rock. We hiked to the base of the rock and adventured around for their wedding portraits. Cathedral Rock has become very popular over the last few years due to social media. However, during certain times of the year, you can still have an area to yourself! Afterward, we hiked up Bell Rock, where they were married in the sweetest ceremony. The dramatic red rock pillars made the perfect backdrop. During the ceremony, they soaked their wedding rings in water for cleansing. Afterward, they poured the water onto a small tree, symbolizing their love taking root, growing, and flourishing. It was such a joyous experience celebrating the love of Jordan and Ben. Their intimate sunset elopement in Sedona was the perfect way to celebrate their love.
