Ashton and Dakota didn’t want an over-the-top wedding. Instead, being private people, they chose to elope with their closest family and friends in an intimate wedding at Grand Teton National Park. The couple loves visiting Wyoming yearly, so Jackson was an easy choice for their intimate wedding. They chose a meaningful place that would reflect them as a couple, and Grand Teton National Park was the perfect fit!
They chose the iconic T.A. Moulton Barn for the backdrop to their ceremony in Grand Teton National Park. Ashton and Dakota were married in the tall grass with beautiful views of the Grand Tetons in the distance. One of the sweetest moments was when the flower girl started taking pictures of the couples, a little future photographer in the making! After their ceremony, we snuck away for their wedding portraits in the park. Then, we ended the day with a gorgeous private picnic for two. The delicious cake matched the Tetons and the custom wedding bands they purchased in Jackson. A great end to a glorious day.
The following morning, I met with Ashton and Dakota for a sunrise session to explore the park further. We woke up before the sun to catch the Alpen glow, which is always a favorite in the mountains! Then, we ended the session at a high alpine lake before returning to town.
Ashton and Dakota are two of the sweetest couples I have worked with. I find myself saying that repeatedly, but I genuinely work with some of the best couples ever! Their intimate wedding at Grand Teton National Park was an incredible adventure.
