Julia and Carson wanted a private ceremony, so they had a romantic lakeside elopement in Telluride. I photographed them up on the ridge overlooking the lake. As much as I love getting close-up shots during the ceremony, it was a truly unique and intimate experience!
Julia and Carson traveled down to Telluride with their furbaby Wallie for their lakeside elopement. I met the trio in town and rode Gondola to the San Sophia Overlook, overlooking the small mountain town. Wallie wasn’t the biggest fan of the Gondola, but he looked so handsome in all his pictures! Julia looked stunning in her daisy-printed wedding dress. One of my favorite wedding dresses I have photographed! Then, as the clouds rolled in and rain began to fall, we drove into the mountains for their lakeside elopement. Trout Lake is one of my favorite areas, as you are totally secluded and surrounded by mountains and beauty.
Julia and Carson exchanged vows privately while I photographed them from afar. A unique and memorable experience! Afterward, they rolled out a blanket to sit on and read letters from friends and family. One of my favorite ways to incorporate your friends and family into your elopement day. I am always so grateful to capture authentic love stories like Julia and Carson’s. Their romantic lakeside elopement in Telluride was an incredible way to start married life together.
